Dragonfly Lodge

Located in Tuftonboro, New Hampshire, this large property is welcoming from the moment you enter the driveway. The entire landscape was thoughtfully designed to offer a sense of calm relaxation within all areas of the property—whether it be enjoying the beach, lounging on one of the beautiful fire pit patios, strolling through the gardens, and more!

The project was started in 2019, and involved a full landscape renovation including excavation, grading, a new driveway, patios, walkways, cobblestone aprons, New England fieldstone retaining walls by Natural Stone Wall Solutions, planting, lighting, and irrigation. Our team was fortunate to work with the client from the initial design phase into permitting, and installation of the entire project. Since the completion of the project, we have been maintaining the landscape. Materials in this project include New England fieldstone, cobblestones, irregular thermal bluestone, reclaimed granite, native plantings, and landscaping lighting from Dauer Manufacturing. 

This is a large property with several smaller entertainment areas which were designed in a way that is convenient in terms of their relation to the house. For example, outdoor showers are located for convenient access from not only the master bedroom, but also along the main access way from the lake back to the house providing great place to rinse off before going inside. Pathways built with bluestone stepping stones guide you from one space to the next, meandering through gardens and lawn areas to provide an enjoyable experience every step of the way.

This project is a great example of how our team works together seamlessly from design, project management, installation, and landscape maintenance.
