Job Summary
The Carpentry team member is an experienced carpenter working with minimal supervision. The position requires teamwork and diligent detailed work to achieve a successful and high quality finished product.
Essential Job Functions
- Assisting team in carpentry related tasks in a variety of residential and commercial landscape installations to include: deck building and renovation, fence and gate construction and installation, pavilion and pergola construction and installation, house and garage construction, interior home renovations, painting, and metal fabrication
- Working with the Carpentry Manager to complete project task lists and occasionally working solo as needed
- Performing daily organization and clean up of project to keep a clean, safe and professional appearance
- Communicating regularly with the Carpentry Manager to ensure client expectations are being met and surface any issues
- Ensuring the equipment and tool preventative maintenance is performed as needed and that equipment and tools are in good working order
- Keeping track of purchase receipts and using proper Work Ticket Numbers
- Completing other tasks and duties as assigned by Management
- Perform snow removal duties as part of our winter team on an as needed basis
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of best management practices for carpentry and/or the ability and interest to learn
- Capable of operating required equipment and tools and/or the ability and interest to learn
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid NH Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record, valid DOT Medical Card
- Good communication skills and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand or squat for long periods and working in all weather conditions
