Job Summary
This position performs trucking and mobilization duties as required at both the main facility and to/from client job sites. This position ensures that materials and trucking services meet the needs of the various teams of employees. This position also assists the facility manager with their responsibilities, as required or assigned.
Essential Functions
- Maintain and fill bulk materials yard and complete materials loading/replenishment for the field crews throughout the day
- Using the appropriate truck or machinery/equipment safely pick up, haul, and deliver materials to the bulk storage area, storage facility, and client job sites
- Mobilizing heavy equipment to/from job sites
- Allocating materials towards the applicable jobs in Aspire
- Perform safety checks and required inspections for vehicles and report any issues to the fleet mechanics
- Meeting with the Construction Operations Manager to develop a daily/weekly plan for mobilization and material needs
- Interact professionally with materials vendors and contractors as needed
- Maintain inventory and restock products/materials as needed or assigned
- Push back/turn brush, compost piles as needed or assigned
- Snow plowing and removal duties as required
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
- CDL(A) license and DOT Med Card
- 3 years minimum driving experience
- Proven experience with various size truck capabilities
- Proven experience large equipment used in landscaping maintenance and construction
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, stand or squat for long periods of time, and work in all weather conditions.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Forklift Certified and OSHA 10 Training preferred
- Bi-lingual preferred
Salary and Benefits
- Hourly Rate – TBD with experience and qualifications
- 40 hours weekly, eligible for overtime
